Graduate Therapist (Practicum and Internship)

The Graduate Level Mental Health Intern position is available to current students who are pursuing a Master's level degree in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy. The position serves as internship hours within a degree program.

Calm Mind Therapy is a small group practice providing outpatient mental health care to children, adolescents, adults, families. We are currently looking for an intern who is interested in working with young children, adolescents, and families. Please send your resume if you are interested in the internship position.

This position is for practicum students with availability starting in January 2026 and with interest to continue on for internship I and II.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional clinical care to children, teenagers, and adults

• Identify community resources for children, teenagers, and adults

• Complete all documentation within one week of providing clinical services

• Conduct intakes

• Attend weekly supervision and bi-weekly group supervision

Skills, Education, and Experience:

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, other related mental health field

• Knowledge of typical and atypical child development

• Knowledge of therapy and psychological assessments with children, teenagers, and adults

• Ability to work with sensitivity to cultural diversity
